Finca Santa Teresa is one of the finest producers of geisha, caturra and catuai in Panama. The farm took 5th and 8th place this year in the Best of Panama Competition. We are very proud to host the President of the farm, Mr Andre Wierzbicki. Andre has brought with him all 14 geisha lots which we will cup on the night together with a table of the best of FST’s traditional 85+ lots too. Roasteries looking for samples can register their interest with us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Andre will give a presentation and Q and A on the business realities of farm management and direct trade. Some of you will recall we hosted Andre’s business partner Toby Smith (the first guy to bring single estate coffee into Australia!) last summer for a similar event but this time there’s an edge to the FST event because Andre has a container on its way to Europe for the first time.
A finale to this event will see our Director of Training Jem Challender, this year’s UK Brewer’s Cup champion, give a dress rehearsal performance of FST’s Zorro Geisha which he is taking to Dublin the very next day to compete in the World Brewer’s Cup. Lot’s of interesting innovations in this performance and in Prufrock’s opinion, the finest coffee that has ever entered our doors. Especially exciting because with amazing care and precision from UK Roasting Champion Matthew Robley Seimonsma (Prufrock GM) we roasted it in house ;D
This event is free to attend so we look forward to seeing you all very soon.
